His black eyes surveyed their faces, searching. He knew what he was looking for; did they?
The night was not traditionally cold. There was, in fact, a feeling of warmth in the air. This gave him hope, but not bearing gracious ideology, with which hope is so regularly defined. Warm nights on the strip meant more meat.
He slowly rose from his seat and quietly strode toward the bar, empty scotch glass in hand. Manouvering between the punters in an almost ghost-like fashion. Upon ordering his seventh refill of the night, he caught a lingering glimpse at the barmaid's cleavage before throwing her a seductive wink.
